Well who would have thought, just yesterday I was writing about my friend Amy Babinchak and today I hear she is awarded the Microsoft Small Business Specialist of the year. Way to go Amy and chasing right behind her is runner-up Andy Trish fellow SBS MVP. Congratulations to both of them!

Problems with KB974417 on SBS 2003 ?

This is a modifcation of a tip I found HERE

First Download the patch KB974417

At a command prompt enter NDP20SP2-KB974417-x86.exe -x c:\KB974417
Open windows explorer and goto C:\KB974417
Double Click on NDP20SP2-KB974417.msp and let it install
Reboot the server
run wuauclt.exe /detectnow

This worked like a champ for me, hope it helps you,
