had the same problem. IIS admin service was pending at Stopping. Killed the task inetinfo.exe via taskmanager and update continued…

This assumes that ReservedPorts already exists:

for /f “tokens=3″ %i in (’reg query HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters /v ReservedPorts’) do reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters /v ReservedPorts /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d %i1645-16461701-17011812-18132883-28834500-4500 /f

Otherwise you just do a straight reg add.

What do you know, I was about to reach out to Andy when all of sudden who should appear? Funny how things work out. We are looking forward to hosting the meetings here at our offices in Greensboro! I also am a geek with a mini. Actually I’m on my second Mini. I now have a Mini Cooper S with the John Cooper Works Kit. You will absolutely love your Mini. I have had muscle cars, sportscars, 4×4, econoboxes, etc. Nothing has come close to the enjoyment of owning a Mini. Congrats.
