During this week, we will be making some changes to the server hosting the MSSMALLBIZ.com WebSite which means there may be some times where you will not be able to access some of the resources hosted there. We will be making every effort to ensure that the transition is a quick and painless as possible; however, I did want to let you all know about this update in case you do get any error message when trying to locate some of these resources.
Just so you know, here are some of the items that may be affected during this update timeline:
So thank you in advance for your patience as we make these necessary updates to better serve you in the future through the Microsoft SMB Channel Community.
Thank you and have a wonderful day,

This is one bullet you don’t want to dodge. Microsoft has brought back the Second Shot Progam, that is the one where you register before taking the exams and if you don’t pass the first time, you get to take it again for free. Make sure you register HERE first!
A few weeks ago I saw a post on Eric Ligman’s Blog and I followed the directions to enter for a chance to win 50 Mid Market Brochures. Well today the box arrived and I just wanted to say thankx to Eric and let him know they will go to good use. I will be handing them out at the next Triad SBS Group meeting.
These brochures are chalk full of talking points. They will make great conversation starters on your sales calls.
Keep an eye on Eric’s Blog you never know what goodies you are liable to bump into accidently :>)
Yesterday Microsoft announced the info on which version / edition of SQL will be included in SBS 2008 and it was great news. Read about it HERE, they are definitelytaking the high road on this one folks. I think everyone will be happy with the announcement!

Hi Gang,
Microsoft has published the OFFICAL MIGRATION GUIDE to get from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008.
If you want to hit the ground running in November, it is time to start practicing, so load up the beta and give it a whirl.
Haven’t seen or heard from Jeff lately, my guess is he is working on the Swing 2008 Version, can’t wait to it when it is done.
