Kicking and Screaming I am Bloggin

I don’t know about you, but I hate being stuck on hold listening to music I would never have chosen and not being able to do anything else. I applaud Microsoft CSS for their recent announcement and finally thinking about my time instead of their own.

Now instead of wasting away on the phone I can get on with other tasks while I wait for a qualified call back. I can only hope this new program works as well as the online hotfix request which I am also in love with for the very same reasons. Finally it appears Microsoft is moving into the digial age!

HA-edit 7/8/2008: Some of you were concerned about losing Server Down Support, Here is the OFFICAL WORD on that from Microsoft, don’t panic it is good news.

Well in the past Susan liked to call folks like me (and herself) who saw the advantange of Software Assurance a rounding error, because there were so few of us.

But with this announcement of what you will get if you have SA on SBS R2, it is a no brainer. Are you a trusted advisor? Making this kind of recomendation is just the thing to build some of that trust, you stand to save them around a thousand dollars (assumes premium version), if they buy in now!
