Sorry David, Guilty as Charged

Hey David, I have to admit I was the one beating the dead horse, as I really enjoy the Greatest Show in IT or SMB Nation as it was in the past. I just wanted it to have every chance of becoming as good as it once was and I thought Vlad’s presence would have added to it.  But after talking to Susan after Vlad did the Bridge, check, Match, check post; I decided she was right when she said the same thing I was not only beating a dead horse, but throwing fuel on his fire. Well they always say any press is good press, and I am sure all this chitchat didn’t have a lot to do with it, but Harry tells me booking are already over 500 for this years conference, so it looks like Dana & Arlin have pulled it off in spit of Vlad’s comments.

So now that we got that cleared up, I would like to encourgae you to continue on smemanaged.com, speaking as one SPF to another, there really is time during the day to get this all done. So please don’t give up!

Thanks buddy it is more a case of getting started, I think the big push will happen when I can publish things I would be arrested by the NDA police for today.

I may have some nice things coming up as I recently started a part time contract role for a 160 User Federal Government Department. So I’m doing LOTS of stuff that these Mid Market installations will implement.

Examples are NAC with McAfee’s Solution, Messaging Compiliance using Envelope Journalling so very basic, the Evaluation process of picking a new SAN and about two dozen other things in Mid Market of course genericised for confidentiality reasons.

You Never Know maybe it will be a Springer Spaniels type look at different teirs up the user count and IT maturity ladders.

Sounds like you are ready to make the jump into hyperspace, have you signed up for the Centro Beta ?

Yes and eagerly awaiting IDS for another relevant beta too. Given a focus area I have been awaiting for a long time now.

I really just need to stop getting distracted by the next new shiney thing and put stuff on paper.

Might put SCE 2007 on SBS 2003 R2 over the weekend to see where that takes me process wise. Perhaps on Sunday because the rule is you can be selfish and do what you want on Fathers Day
